Practicing Meditation
I breathe deeply and slowly,
Concentrating on air’s soft in and
out.
I scan the many parts of my body’
Some in pain and others in deep
relaxation.
It’s also good to repeat my chant.
Some came long ago from religion,
And religion’s holy name of God
Others like Sa Ta Na Ma mean
nothing.
I love to walk and meditate.
It’s a very healthy way to relax.
I concentrate on my legs and feet,
While staying in the here and now.
