As I sit thinking about my life
Many dogs deal with strife
I've had a very happy family
They love to stop and play with me

A View From The Right Side of My Brain

Reading books and analyzing people’s behavior have been my main interest throughout adulthood. However, I also always had a push toward creative expression. It emerged after I took a workshop on woodcarving. Around my house wooden birds are sitting on tables and on top of the fridge waiting to be fed.

I then started to dabble in watercolor painting for a while. It was fun but not enough so I began painting with acrylic. I have not lost my touch with words and have begun using them for poetry. Recently I began to combine my poetry as an expression of my paintings. I intend to go through my twenty or so paintings and create poems that express them in words.
